Greenwhich launches 2 new Overloaded Bigatin Pizzas—the Hungarian Sausage & Bacon Overload and Shrimp & Garlic Overload plus Greenwhich Pizza Cookie

Greenwich celebrated International Friendship Day (celebrated every first day of August) by introducing the Greenwich Bigatin Friends and launching 2 new Overloaded Bigatin Pizzas—the Hungarian Sausage & Bacon Overload and Shrimp & Garlic Overload.

The Hungarian Sausage has twice the usual amount of Hungarian sausage and crispy bacon strips topped with 100% mozzarella cheese. The Shrimp & Garlic Overload, on the other hand (my favorite!), boasts of generous servings 1/3 pound of juicy grilled shrimp, complemented with roasted garlic, onions and fresh green bell peppers—all packed atop a thick bed of mozzarella and cheddar cheeses.

Aside from the two new pizza flavors, a new dessert was also introduced—the Greenwich Pizza Cookie. A flavorful dessert of Butterfinger chocolate-stuffed cookie topped with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream, drizzled with rich chocolate syrup, and sprinkled with crushed Butterfinger chocolate.
